Dog

Animal Control and Licensing for Cathedral City (and other participating cities in the valley) is a function of the Coachella Valley Animal Campus. This new state-of-the-art facility, in Thousand Palms, was initiated by the Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) and Animal Samaritans Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

Q: What do I do if I see a dangerous or mean dog roaming freely?
A: Call 9-1-1 to report a dangerous or threatening dog roaming freely.

Q: What do I do if I see a friendly dog roaming freely in the neighborhood?
A: If you cannot find the owner of the dog, then call Riverside County Animal Control at (760) 343-3644 and report it.

Q: What do I do about a chronic barking dog that is a public nuisance?
