Department Summary
The Human Resources Division administers all human resource management and development programs for the City in compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations. This includes programs related to employee recruitment, selection, retention, and retirement.

Human Resources supports City employees and departments by providing guidance and services that help recruit, develop, and retain a skilled, professional, and diverse workforce. The Division’s core functions include employee recruitment and selection, benefits administration, position classification and compensation, personnel law and policy administration, and employee development.
