The Code Update Team including Consultants from Mintier Harnish and UrbanGreen facilitated a series of walking tours to engage the community members and gather public perspectives on the form of the City. 
Participants took part in any or all of the 3 tours starting at various locations. Questions from all  3 tours focused on the participants' experience of the area: buildings, sidewalks, landscape, views, parking, access, shade, as well as aspects of the building design such as window and door placements, materials, colors. 

Attendees were invited to complete a questionnaire to gain perspective on how each person experienced the site and what they liked and what they would like improved. 

Frequently mentioned topics included landscaping, especially along the pedestrian routes, pedestrian safety, site orientation or whether the building or the parking faces the street, connectivity and public/private amenities. 

UrbanGreen's founder Jim Heid, one of the tour facilitators, provided expertise in understanding the practical and the fiscal realities of development.
