The colorful and witty collages of Israeli illustrator Hanoch Piven have appeared throughout the last 18 years on both sides of the Atlantic. His work has been featured in leading American magazines and newspapers including Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone and has also graced the covers of prominent European publications such as Esquire UK and Der Spiegel.
Piven's work is in the permanent collection of “The Prints and Photographs Division” of The Library of Congress inWashington, DC, where he presented his award-winning book, “What Presidents Are Made of.” The book was chosen by Time Magazine as one of the Best Books of 2004.
Piven will be leading a wonderful workshop with us at the Cathedral City Public Library located at 33520 Date Palm Drive, Cathedral City. Anyone interested in participating, ages 5 and up, please email Karen Riley at info@scrapgallery.org.
